Joe Biden maintained his lead for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a new poll.br Minorities gravitated toward Biden in search of the safest bet for beating President Donald Trump in 2020.br The Aug. 1-5 public opinion poll was released on Wednesday.br It showed that 22 of Democrats and independents would vote for Biden.br According to the poll, 36 of Democrats say they are simply looking for someone who can win.
