The Employees Provident Fund Organization has given a big relief to six lakh pensioners. The organization has approved a proposal to revive the lump-sum arrangement under the Employees Pension Scheme for a part of the pension amount. This will benefit pensioners who have taken a lump-sum on retirement before 2009.
