Around 240,000 residents of Cainta, Rizal are affected by floods brought by the monsoon rains. That's almost 80 percent of Cainta's population. The government used trailer trucks, armored vehicles, and small boats to help evacuate residents to safer ground. There are currently 14 evacuation centers. Majority of evacuees are informal settlers.
