It focused on the health effects br of both regular and diet soft drinks br on more than 452,000 people in ten br countries, between 1992 and 2000. It found that drinking two or more br "glasses" of diet soda per day was br linked to deaths from circulatory disease, br including coronary artery disease. The study also found an association br between higher soft drink consumption br and risk of death from Parkinson's disease.
