This show of Evening With Shireen with Chef Shireen Anwar aired on 11 September 2019. br br If you enjoy cooking Pakistani food and are looking for recipes, videos of LIVE shows, totkas, and other food stories in both Urdu and English, subscribe to this YouTube channel or go to our Website: br Murgh Malaiwala:br br Ingredients:br Chicken karahi cut 750gm br Yogurt ½ cupbr Lemon juice 1 tbspbr Ginger paste 1 tspbr Garlic paste 1 tspbr Salt 1 tspbr All spice powder 1 tspbr Oil ½ cupbr Clarified butter 1 tbspbr Cloves 3-4br Black peppercorn 5-6br Blended onion 1 cupbr Green chilies 2br Cream 100 mlbr Milk ½ cupbr Saffron water 1 tbspbr Cardamom powder ½ tspbr White pepper powder 1 tspbr Crushed fenugreek leaves1 tbspbr Cayenne pepper powder 2 tspbr br Method:br Put clarified butter, salt, yogurt, ginger garlic, all spice powder, lemon juice on chicken and set aside. Heat oil add whole all spice then add blended onion and cook. Now add green chilies, chicken and cook until it gets tender. Add milk, saffron, cardamom powder, white pepper powder, cayenne pepper powder, fenugreek leaves and cook. Add ½ cup water for gravy and cook for 5 minutes. Add cream in last and serve.br br Smoked Daal Makhni:br Ingredients: br br Whole Black Lentil 1 cupbr Clarified butter 4 tbspbr Ginger Garlic paste 2 tspbr Red Chili Powder 1 tspbr Turmeric ½ tsp br Coriander powder 1tspbr Cumin seeds 1 tspbr Sliced onion ½ cupbr Grated ginger 1 tspbr Tomato puree 6 tbspbr Curd 3 tbspbr Flour 1 tspbr All spice 1 tspbr Butter 2 tbspbr Cream ¼ cupbr Dried fenugreek leaves 1 tbspbr Salt to tastebr br Method:br Cook lentil with ginger garlic, salt, red chili, and turmeric and coriander powder. In last add all spice and dried fenugreek leaves. Mix flour, tomato puree and curd. Heat clarified butter add cumin seeds then add onion, ginger and fry till golden. Now add tomato puree mixture. Add this mixture over daal mixture then add butter, garnish with cream. Give coal smoke and serve.
