J.K. Rowling Donates $19M br to Fund MS Research The author's mother, Anne Rowling, died from complications related to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1990 at the age of 45. J.K. helped set up the br Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic br at Scotland's University of Edinburgh in 2010. She has now gifted the br university with $19 million br in order to pay for new facilities br and research into the illness.
