'SNL' Fires New Cast Member

The show has parted ways with the
new hire after a clip of him making
bigoted comments on a podcast surfaced. .
In the clip, Gillis makes racist comments about Chinese Americans and mocks their accent. .
Along with hiring Gillis, 'SNL' also brought on their first-ever Asian American cast member, Bowen Yang,
for their 45th season. .
An 'SNL' spokesperson
confirmed the firing to CNN. .
