Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, who represents former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in his 1MDB corruption trial, reiterated on Wednesday that former 1MDB CEO Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi did not say directly that he was instructed by Najib in dealings with dubious decisions relating to the company.
