Some Hong Kong hotel rooms are cheaper than renting a flat as protests drag on

A Hong Kong hotel has dramatically reduced room rates to as low as US$9 per night amid recent protests in the city.  The three-star Winland 800 Hotel located in Tsing Yi is even offering a 30-night stay for as little as HK$5,980 or US$763. Anti-government protests have dragged on for 16 weeks, taking a heavy toll on the city’s hospitality sector.
