A report from Collider br adds that producer, writer br and actress Jen D'Angelo br will write the script. The original 'Hocus Pocus' centered br on three 17th-century witches who br come back to life in modern day br Salem, Massachusetts. It starred Bette Midler, br Sarah Jessica Parker br and Kathy Najimy. The 1993 Halloween film has become br a cult classic since its release. Back in late 2017, the movie's director, Kenny Ortega, said he was interested br in seeing a follow-up. Kenny Ortega, via 'ET' Ortega added he believed the br original film's cast would return.
