Video Information: Acharya Prashant speaking on Isha Upanishad at Apeejay University at a Faculty Development Program on 1st June, 2015.br br Verses from Isha Upanishad:br br Verse 9: अन्धं तमः प्रविशन्ति येऽविद्यामुपासते ।br ततो भूय इव ते तमो य उ विद्यायां रताः ॥९॥br They enter into blinding darkness who worship avidya;br into still greater darkness, as it were, do they enter who delight in vidya.br br Verse 10: अन्यदेवाहुर्विद्ययाऽन्यदाहुरविद्यया।br इति शुश्रुम धीराणां ये नस्तद्विचचक्षिरे ॥ १०॥br By Vidya one result is attained; by Avidya, another.br Thus we have heard from the wise men who taught this.br br Verse 11: विद्यां चाविद्यां च यस्तद्वेदोभय -- सह।br अविद्यया मृत्युं तीर्त्वा विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते ॥ ११॥br He who is aware that both Vidya and Avidyabr should be pursued together overcomes death throughbr Avidya and obtains immortality through Vidya.
