South Korea's government expenditure to GDP ratio is expected to be among the lowest in the G20 next year.
According to data from the International Monetary Fund,... Korea's government spending as a proportion of its GDP will be around 23%, around one percentage point higher than this year,... but still far less than G20 average of roughly 35%.
The IMF has called on countries like South Korea with fiscal policy headroom... to bolster spending in order to prop up growth and cushion the blow of a sputtering global economy.
