Lothian Buses Edinburgh celebrate their 100th anniversary with an Edinburgh vintage buses running day event and bus cavalcade featuring many of their vintage buses taking to the streets of Edinburgh while members of the public enjoyed a trip down memory lane.br br I edited the video using Sony Vegas Pro 10. The majority of the filming took place on September 22nd and 23rd September 2019 when Lothian Buses Edinburgh hosted a vintage buses running day event on their 26 route between Eastfield and Haymarket along with a doors open event within their Central Garage and then a special bus cavalcade took place on the 23rd September where members of the public could view a procession of preserved and modern buses from the fleet as they drove from West Coates to George Street in the centre of Edinburgh passing through Princes Street along the way.br br You may have spotted that some of the Edinburgh vintage buses seen here in this video did not feature on the centenery weekend of events at all. I was surprised many of their vintage buses vehicles were not present at the event however everyone was still treated to a large number of their preserved fleet nonetheless. I wanted to capture as many Edinburgh vintage buses as possible to make this 100th anniversary special a little more special so footage has been edited into the video from the 2017 vintage running day and also from footage captured from a day trip to Lothamund Vintage Buses Museum where many of the classic Edinburgh vintage buses vehicles can be found.
