Former deputy education ministers Datuk Chong Sin Woon and Datuk P. Kamalanathan said both the MCA and MIC br welcomed the Federal Court decision to dismiss lawyer Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Aziz's leave application to question the constitutionality of vernacular schools in the country.
