SRC trial: Najib will be able to tell his side of the story, says Shafee

Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s lead counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah said although he’s sad that his client has to present his defence against the seven charges in the SRC International case, he’s happy for two reasons: that the accused would be able to tell his side of the story and that the trial started in the High Court.
He also told reporters that he expected the case to go all the way to the Federal Court, and stretch beyond the next election in 2023.
