Senior U.S. officials are expressing optimism a trade deal with China is finally within reach.
Speaking to Fox Business Network on Friday,... U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said there was a "very high probability" for a final agreement on the so-called "phase one" trade deal with Beijing.
He added they are down to ironing out the final details.
President Trump's economic adviser Larry Kudlow expressed similar optimism a day earlier, adding Washington is having daily conversations with Beijing.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a new all-time high on Friday after Kudlow's comments.
