CM Uddhav Thackeray-led Govt passes floor test in Maharashtra Assembly

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on November 30 unanimously passed the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly. The total votes in favour of Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi Government are 169. Thackeray passed the floor test two days after being sworn-in as Maharashtra Chief Minister. The Shiv Sena president, who took oath as the chief minister on Thursday, formed a coalition government with NCP and Congress. Thackeray was sworn-in as the chief minister of the state on November 28. Six ministers two each from the Sena, Congress and the NCP - also took oath at Shivaji Park.
