In Varanasi's Bajardiha locality – PM Modi's parliamentary constituency – lathi-charge by the UP police on CAA protesters resulted in a stampede which killed 10-year-old Sageer. His neighbour, 16-year-old Tanveer Alam, who sustained grievous injuries, continues to be in ICU.
