A mosque is likely to be built on the land outside the periphery of Panchkosi Parikrama in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Rama. The Sunni Waqf Board has been offered the land by the UP government. The Yogi government has identified five sites for the mosque outside Panchkosi Parikrama. The proposal has been sent to the Union Home Ministry for approval.
