Ten central trade unions have declared Bharat Bandh today. The unions claim that more than 25 crore people will be involved in the nationwide strike. The strike has been announced against the anti-people economic policies of the Modi government. The strike has been supported by other unions including INTUC, AITUC, HMS, CITU, AIUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF, UTUC.
