A Chinese research team has suggested that the deadly new coronavirus may not have originated from the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in the central city of Wuhan that was the epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak. The research team reportedly analysed 93 samples of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) sourced from 12 countries.
