Occurred on May 17, 2016 Calallen, Texas, USAbr br Info from Licensor: "Our home and local area were approached by a huge collapsing 'Thunderstorm' that generated a magnificent field of the best 'Mammatocumulus' clouds that I have ever witnessed. I had waited 64 years for this opportunity. A rescued feral Kitten gets full credit for causing me to see the approaching Mammatus Storm at around 7:45 PM. The name we had given him just happens to be 'Thunder'. I had gone to feed Thunder cat outside in the Garage and happened to notice the strange lighting effects in our back pasture to the West. What I saw coming and that went right over our house was amazing. I am thankful to have seen it.
