There are now more new cases of the novel coronavirus being recorded outside China than inside the country, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said on February 26, 2020.  The deadly virus that causes Covid-19 has now been reported on every continent except Antarctica. China’s top respiratory disease expert said he was confident the epidemic will be “basically under control” by April in the country where it originated.
