The police force has deployed a total of 8,600 personnel nationwide to ensure that people abide by the Covid-19 movement control order (MCO).
After his visit to a police roadblock in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador told reporters that the police personnel will perform checks and remind people to follow the rules to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
