Covid-19: PTPTN loan payments deferred for six months

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday (March 23) announced that there would be an additional three-month deferment of PTPTN (National Higher Education Fund Corporation) loan repayments due to the Covid-19 pandemic, adding that the extension was effective until September 30.

On March 18, Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad had announced a three-month deferment until June 30 due to the impact of Covid-19 on the economy.
