Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said it will take a long time for both the local and world economy to recover after the Covid-19 crisis.br br Speaking in a live question and answer session this morning, Mahathir said the hotel and airline industries have been badly affected, with airlines cutting flights and tourists cancelling holidays.
