US States Band Together for br Economy Reopening Plans On the west coast, California Governor Gavin Newsom br is leading a coalition joined by Oregon br and Washington. The east coast's group consists of seven states: br New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Combined, the 10 states make br up nearly 40 percent of br America's economy. Two of them, California and New York, br are responsible for 23 percent. According to Reuters, all of br them are operating separately br from the White House. The plans come after President Trump declaredbr he had ultimate authority on when parts br of the economy should open back up. Based on specific needs, New York Governor br Andrew Cuomo says each state will make br their own reopening plans in the end.
