A son carried his 65-year-old ailing father on his back in Kerala’s Punalur and walked close to one Km. the police allegedly did not let him go with auto-rickshaw to a hospital due to lockdown restrictions. His father was discharged from Punalur Taluk Hospital on April 15. The State Human Rights Commission has registered a suo moto cognizance based on the incident.
