The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the request of Vinay Sharma, one of the accused in the Nirbhaya gang-rape murder case, to peruse recommendation for rejection of his mercy plea. The order was passed by a bench that included Justices R Banumathi, Ashok Bhushan and AS Bopanna.
