India on Wednesday became the fourth nation in the world after the United States, China and Russia to demonstrate anti-satellite missile capability by shooting down a live satellite. Code-named as "Mission Shakti", an anti-satellite weapon ASAT successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit (LEO).
