Anzac Biscuits Recipe | Food Celebrationsbr br Anzac biscuits have long been associated with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) established in World War I. It has been claimed that biscuits were sent by wives and women's groups to soldiers abroad because the ingredients do not spoil easily and the biscuits kept well during naval transportation. These biscuits are super easy to make and very delicious too.br Ingredients:br Flour 1 cupbr Rolled oats 1 cupbr Desiccated coconut 34 cupbr Sugar 12 cupbr 150g butterbr Golden syrup Honey 2 tbspbr 12 tsp bicarb soda mixed in two tbsp waterbr br Method:br Mix all the dry ingredients. Then melt the butter, add the golden syrup or honey. Add 2 tbsp water to ½ tsp soda bicarb and pour into the pan. When the mixture foams up add it to the dry ingredients. Mix well and form balls. Line them on a baking tray. Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 15 – 20 minutes.
