Ismail Sabri: MCO offenders to have statement recorded first

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Monday (April 27) clarified that those found to have breached the movement control order (MCO) will have their statements recorded by the police before the Attorney General's Chambers decide whether they will be charged in court.
He was asked to address public confusion over the standard operating procedure as some offenders were charged in court while others including VIPs had their statements recorded first.
