Mother-Daughter Killed in UP, Accident Given False Communal Spin

A viral video of a car running over a mother-daughter in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district is being circulated with the claim that the two killed were Muslim and that it was a targetted, communal attack. The Quint found out, after talking to the local police and the victim's family, that though the accident did occur in Ballia, the victims were not Muslims and it was not a communal attack.
