US Drops Criminal Case Against Michael Flynn

U.S. Drops Criminal Casebr Against Michael Flynn On May 7, the United States Justice Department announcedbr their decision to drop the criminal case against Michael Flynn, former national security advisor to Donald Trump. Flynn was accused of and initially pled guiltybr to lying about his conversation with the Russianbr ambassador to the FBI in a 2017 interview. His was one of the first Trump aides to plead guilty and br cooperate with Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia's br interference in the 2016 presidential election. However, in recent months Flynn had been attempting tobr withdraw his plea and challenge the prosecution’s case.
