Ismail Sabri: Govt safeguarding people’s safety, not out to discriminate illegal foreign workers

During a press conference on Tuesday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob clarified that it is the government’s priority to ensure the safety of Malaysian citizens and majority people in the country.
He said the government will not bow to the demands of certain human rights groups defending migrants’ rights.
He said this in response to criticisms against the government for taking action against migrants during the movement control order period.
