The Department of Health (DOH) announced that 380 more people have contracted coronavirus disease (COVID-19), raising the total number of confirmed cases to 15,049.br br The number of new confirmed cases is the highest number of cases reported in a single day since April 6, when 414 cases were recorded.br br Of the new reported cases, 254 came from the National Capital Region, 92 were from other regions, while 34 repatriates were found positive.br br Based on the latest case bulletin, the DOH also reported 18 additional fatalities among COVID-19 patients. This means that the death toll has now climbed to 904.br br The Health department also said that 94 more patients have survived from COVID-19, raising the country’s tally of recoveries to 3,506.
