Electronic Arts Donates $1 Million to Fight Racism

Electronic Arts Donates br $1 Million to Fight Racism Video game publisher and developer Electronic Arts (EA) br announced in a statement made by CEO Andrew Wilson that they are donating a million dollars br “to organizations dedicated to the fight for racial justice br in the U.S. and against discrimination around the world.” Those organizations include the Equal Justice Initiative, br the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund and more. It was also revealed that EA will br “double match any funds" that br people make to organizations through br EA's YourCause program during June. Their statement comes in br response to the recent protests br against racial injustice, which were sparked by the br killing of George Floyd by police. EA also said in their statement that they “stand with all br of [their] African-American Black colleagues and br partners, families and friends, and everyone around br the world who is ready to see [racism] end.
