As India lifts lockdown orders to fight Covid-19, factories across the nation are struggling to find workers after many migrant labourers fled urban areas during the pandemic. When a strict curfew went in place in March 2020, many migrant workers were suddenly jobless and were forced to leave the industrialised cities and return to their home states.
