India has won a resounding victory as a provisional member of the UN Security Council .... India has once again got an 8th place in the United Nations. A total of 192 countries voted for this, out of which 184 countries voted in favor of India and India was elected as a provisional member of the UNSC unopposed. After India's success, TS Trimurti, India's Permanent Representative to the UN, said that I am very happy that the members of the UN have elected India as a temporary member of the Security Council for the year 2021-22 with a tremendous majority.
