How to Get HIgh Quality Bcklink in 2020 Part 2

5. Publish Ultimate Guidesbr You already know that the only way to move your site to the top of Google is to build high quality backlinks (and lots of them).br br That much is clear.br br But HOW do you get other sites to actually link to you?br br Ultimate Guides.br br Seriously.br br Ultimate Guides are absolute link MAGNETS.br br 1. Your first step is to find a topic for your guide.br br This is important.br br You want to choose a popular topic that hasn’t been covered to death already.br br (In other words: you don’t want to publish the 18th ultimate guide on a topic)br br Instead, choose a topic that hasn’t been covered to death yet.br 2. Next, outline your ultimate guide.br br This is easy.br br br Just list out subtopics that make up your larger topic.br br For example, for my link building guide, I simply listed out subtopics like this:br br What is link building?br Black hat SEObr White hat SEObr Anchor textbr Contentbr Email outreachbr Advanced tipsbr 3. Lastly, write your Ultimate Guide.br br And remember:br br Don’t be afraid to cover EVERYTHING there is to know about a topic.br br 6. Use Branded Strategies and Techniquesbr Ramit Sethi created a strategy for looking like a rockstar at meetings called “The Briefcase Technique“:br Step #1: Develop a Unique Strategy, Tip or Tacticbr br This sounds hard… but it isn’t.br br All you need to do is come up with a strategy that has SOMETHING unique about it.br br (In other words, the entire strategy doesn’t need to be unique)br Step #2: Next, name your strategy.br br I called my strategy The Moving Man Method because you’re helping the site owner “move” their link.br br Not the most creative name, but it gets the job done.br br So yeah, just make sure the name describes what your strategy does.br br Other than that, try to use one of these words in your strategy name:br br Methodbr Techniquebr Approachbr Systembr Blueprintbr You get the idea br br Step #3: Publish the strategy as part of a blog post.br br Your last step is to show people that your new strategy actually works.br br How?br br Publish your strategy in the form of a blog post (preferably a case study).br br (That way, people have something to link to when they reference your technique).br 7. Authority Resource Pagesbr Resource pages are a link builder’s dream.br br Why? They’re pages that exist solely to link out to other sites.br You might be wonderingbr br “OK, that’s great. But how can I get links from resource pages”?br br Like every strategy in this post, I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process:br br First, you need to find resource pages.br br These can be tricky to find. Very few people call their resource page a “resource page”.br br Instead, people tend to describe their pages with terms like:br br “helpful resources”br br “useful resources”br br “further reading”br br “additional resources”br br So to find these pages, you just need to search for these terms… plus a keyword.br Second, now that you’ve found a resource page, it’s time to reach out and (nicely) ask for a link.br br (Pro Tip: Check the resource page for outdated or broken links BEFORE you reach out.
