In a joint press conference on Thursday, the Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO), Kenya national Union of Nurses (KNUN), Kenya National Union of Medical Laboratory Officers (KNUMLO), Kenya National Union Pharmaceutical Technologist (KNUPT), demanded better pay and benefits for healthcare workers. They say that if conditions are not met within a week, they are prepared to hold a strike.
