The herbal farming sub-sector has been handed a major lifeline following an increase in cargo flights and the partial reopening of supermarkets in some European countries. Scientists in Kenya are testing the efficacy of a herb used by traditional healers to find out whether it speeds up recovery from covid-19 as the search for a cure for the disease intensifies.
