In Maharashtra, the Aadhaar card has been made compulsory to purchase the corona virus (Covid-19) medicine. Remadecivir and tolizumab will be used in BMC hospitals only after approval. In this regard, the Food and Drug Administration of Maharashtra has issued a circular, which states that a patient’s relative will have to give Aadhaar card, doctor's prescription, consent form, corona virus report and contact related information to purchase the medicine.
