Huawei Technologies equipment will be banned from Britain’s 5G network, UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden announced on July 14, 2020. London earlier planned to allow Huawei a limited role in Britain’s super-fast wireless infrastructure, giving it up to a 35 per cent involvement of the overall project, but excluded the company from sensitive parts of its network.
