In Bhagalpur too, the river Ganges has now taken a devastating form. The new Ganga of Shankarpur panchayat in Sabour block merged into the Ganges river on seeing an Anganwadi center in Ramnagar. Half a dozen houses of the population of the new Tola Ramnagar ward number 4 have so far entered the Ganges. And with the continuous rise in the water level in the river Ganga, many more houses of the village are expected to flow.
