A coronavirus positive 70-year-old patient died after falling off a hospital bed in Telangana. The incident was reported at the district hospital of Karimnagar on Sunday. The deceased was put on oxygen support as he was unable to breathe properly and was later put on ventilator support. On Sunday, he slipped off the bed, which led to the oxygen supply getting disrupted. He died soon after. A middle-aged man in West Bengal's North 24 Paraganas died inside the hospital premises after he was allegedly refused help to board an ambulance, as he was a suspected coronavirus patient. The body of a 55-year-old coronavirus patient was left at home for over 18 hours in the Behala area of Kolkata, West Bengal. Locals claimed that they tried to contact Kolkata Municipal Corporation, local councillor and the Police but received no help in cremating the body as per government protocol. They said there was no response till late afternoon on Monday.
