Moderna's Covid vaccine candidate entered phase 3 human trials on Monday. The trials involve 30,000 volunteers at 87 sites across the United States of America. Moderna is developing an mRNA vaccine that synthesises an RNA that codes for a disease-specific antigen. NO mRNA vaccines exist in the market yet. MOderna's could be the first one.
