There is confusion around whether Madzikane the second Thandisizwe Diko is actually a king. According to authorities he is actually a Chieftan overseeing two villages in the Eastern Cape. Meanwhile, Diko's maintained his innocence in a PPE tender scandal involving his company Royal Bhaca Projects. He says it was up to the department to flag if there was conflict of interest. Diko's wife Khusela is the president's spokesperson.
