127 nabbed for not wearing masks on first day of mandatory face mask rule

Police arrested 127 individuals on Saturday for not wearing masks, the first day that using it in crowded areas and on public transportation came into effect, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said that in a statement on Sunday, adding that those nabbed were part of the total of 315 individuals arrested for breaching the recovery movement control order (MCO).
