Deputy Education Ministry Datuk Chong Sin Woon said his ministry is starting a project to ensure that all conforming schools in the country meet the requirement to have at least 50 of teachers who are of Chinese origin. Chong also said that there is an imbalance in the distribution of teachers who teach Mandarin in schools across the country. He told reporters after a meeting with the heads of Malaysia’s conforming schools on Monday.
